This page provides insights into what you can expect on the day of your rental, the fundamental requirements for operating a boat, and additional information to assist you in the booking process.

Boating Safety
An understanding of how to operate the boat (once onboard) is necessary. It is essential for the safety of everyone in the rental group that they understand the safety information and operating instructions provided for them.
Boat Rentals Seekers LLC reserves the right to refuse service to any individual (or group) if in the opinion of our staff, a question exists regarding their ability to understand and follow the rules, regulations, safety instructions, laws, and/or operation of the boat.
Requirements to Rent a boat
You must have prior boating experience before you can rent a boat from us. It’s for your own safety.
Here are the requirements for renting a boat with us:
-

-
Anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, must have a Boating Safety Education Identification Card to legally operate a boat in Florida.
-
To obtain a Boating Safety Education Identification Card, you can choose one of the following options:
-
Obtain a Temporary Certificate (TC) for $9.99. For more details, please refer to the FWC website.
-
Acquire a Boating Safety Education Identification Card by completing one of the FWC-listed boating safety courses. Many of these courses are affordable and can be completed online. Upon successful completion, you will be issued an FWC Boating Safety Education Identification Card.
Fuel Policy
All boats will be fully fueled at the beginning of your rental period.
Renters are responsible for the fuel they use during the rental, and fuel costs will be charged to the card on file.
Cost per gallon is the market price.
For more clarity, the fuel fee is separate from the boat rental cost, and you will be charged for the fuel used on your trip upon return.
Payment Methods
We accept both credit cards and debit cards for payment. You can make your payment online through our website or over the phone.
*Cash payments are accepted, however, we still require a credit card on file for both the fuel charge and the security deposit.
*Phone reservations are required for cash payment.
If you've made advance reservations and wish to delay the payment until closer to the due date, we can accommodate that. We will charge you three days before the rental, taking a $50 deposit, which will be added back to your payment.
We do require a security deposit, which may be up to $600. It's essential to clarify that your card will only be charged if there are damages to the boat after the trip is completed and the boat is inspected. We won't charge your card before the rental or place it on pending. The charges will be determined based on the extent of the damages found.
