Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for boat rentals booked through emailing us at boatrentalseekers@gmail.com or by calling us at (941) 267-1524.

1. Standard Cancellation Policy

​​

  • 24-Hour Notice Required: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your rental start time to receive a full refund.

  • Last-Minute Cancellations: If you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled rental, you will receive no refund. Please be sure of your dates before booking. Our rental season is limited, and last-minute cancellations impact our ability to serve other customers.

  • No-Show Policy: Failure to arrive for your reservation without prior notice will result in no refund.

Cancellations must be made by phone call to (941) 267-1524 or by email to boatrentalseekers@gmail.com.

 

2. Weather-Related Cancellations

  • National Weather Service Advisories: If the National Weather Service issues a Small Craft Advisory for our area, we will not allow rental boats to launch. In this case, you will receive a full refund with no cancellation fee.

  • Company Discretion: For other weather concerns (such as storms, high winds, or unsafe conditions), Boat Rental Seekers LLC may cancel rentals at our discretion. Customers will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

3. Refunds

​

  • Method of Refund: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

  • Processing Time: Refunds can take up to 10 business days depending on bank processes, bank holidays usually add a few days to this and in some extreme cases due to screening and other security measures they can officially hold on to the funds up to 30 days.

  • Partial Refunds: If applicable, partial refunds will be calculated based on the timing of the cancellation and any fees incurred.
